Can't find your answer? Email support@gilt.money — we answer every message, usually within a day.
Data & privacy
Where is my data stored?
On your iPhone and in your personal iCloud (CloudKit private database). Gilt has no servers — there is literally nothing on our side that could see your data. No analytics, no tracking, no ads. More →
Do I need to create an account?
No. Gilt uses the iCloud account already on your iPhone. Nothing to sign up for, no password to remember.
Is the AI import private?
Yes — because the app never talks to any AI service. You hand your statement to your own assistant under your own account; Gilt only verifies and imports the file it produces. How it works →
Can I export my data?
Always. CSV export works in every state of the app — trial, subscribed, or after cancellation. Your data is never held hostage.
Trial & billing
How does the 14-day free trial work?
Every subscription starts with 14 days completely free — the full app, no limits. You'll get a reminder two days before it ends. If you don't continue, the app becomes read-only, but browsing, search, reports and CSV export keep working forever.
What happens if I stop subscribing?
You keep access to everything you've entered. You just can't add new records until you subscribe again.
How do I cancel or get a refund?
Cancel: iPhone Settings → your name → Subscriptions → Gilt. Refunds are handled by Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.
What's the Lifetime plan?
A one-time launch-offer purchase ($69.99): everything in Solo, forever, personal to your Apple ID. No subscription.
Family
How does the Family plan work?
Buy once — the subscription extends to up to five members of your Apple Family Sharing group automatically. The shared household ledger syncs through your own iCloud accounts. More →
My partner isn't in my Apple family group — can we still share?
The household ledger can be shared with any iCloud user you invite. The shared subscription, however, follows Apple Family Sharing — outside a family group, each person needs their own plan.
App
Which devices are supported?
iPhone, iOS 26 or later. Home-screen widgets included.
Does Gilt support multiple currencies?
Yes — accounts in different currencies, transfers between them, and exchange rates handled properly.
