Statement import is for history. Day to day, scan a receipt with the document scanner or pick one from Photos: the text is recognised on the device, and on iPhones with Apple Intelligence the merchant, total, date and category are filled in by the on-device model. The receipt never leaves your phone, and every one lands in review before it is saved. Apple Pay purchases can arrive the same way through a Shortcuts automation.

Want your AI to analyze your spending? Export a structured, privacy-filtered snapshot — merchant names and notes stay out unless you say otherwise — and ask any assistant anything: "Where can I realistically save €100 a month?" Gilt gives you the data; your AI gives you the answers.
